💜 Meet the People Behind Blame Sylvia

Meet the People Behind Blame Sylvia 💜

Three people. Three different stories. One shared belief: Nobody should have to feel alone.

We are not perfect people with perfect lives.

We have experienced pain, uncertainty, difficult moments and challenges that have shaped who we are today.

We know that sometimes, the people who make the biggest difference aren't necessarily the ones with all the answers.

Sometimes, it's the person who listens without interrupting.

The person who understands that silence can speak louder than words.

The person who makes you laugh when you haven't smiled in days.

Or simply someone who makes you feel a little less alone.

That's the heart behind Blame Sylvia.

We are three very different people, each bringing our own personality, experiences and way of connecting with others.

And we'd love for you to get to know us.

💜 Meet Sylvia — The Heart Behind Blame Sylvia

36 years old | Personal Support, Trauma Awareness & Relationship Conversations

Hi, I'm Sylvia.

I'm 36 years old, and if there's one thing life has taught me, it's that you can never truly know what someone is carrying just by looking at them.

I'm a survivor of childhood abuse and sexual abuse.

These experiences are part of my story, but they don't define everything I am.

For a long time, I wanted to understand myself better. That's one of the reasons I studied psychology.

I also sought help from a psychologist myself. While professional therapy can be incredibly valuable, my own experience left me feeling that something was missing.

I wanted to feel understood by someone who knew what it was like to live through difficult experiences.

Someone who wouldn't just hear my words, but would also understand the emotions behind them.

That belief shaped the person I am today.

I've always been the person people turn to.

For relationship advice, heartbreak, complicated emotions, family problems or simply when life feels overwhelming.

I'm a natural listener. I pay attention to the little things: the hesitation in someone's voice, the feelings behind their words and sometimes even the things they struggle to say out loud.

I believe body language, empathy and genuine attention can tell us a lot, although I never assume I know someone's feelings better than they do.

You could describe my approach as trauma-informed, lived-experience support.

But I'm also simply Sylvia.

A woman who has lived, survived, learned, laughed, cried and grown.

I don't believe everyone needs advice all the time.

Sometimes you need to cry.

Sometimes you need to talk about love.

Sometimes you need someone to tell you that your feelings matter.

And sometimes you just need a completely ordinary conversation because the silence around you has become too loud.

You don't need a dramatic reason to reach out. Loneliness is reason enough.

I welcome conversations with people from different generations and walks of life, with age-appropriate boundaries for younger people.

I'm not here to promise that I can fix your life.

I'm here to listen, share perspectives when they're welcome, and remind you that your story deserves to be heard.

With love, Sylvia. 💜

🌿 Meet Niels — A Story of Strength, Hope & Living Life

20 years old | Lived Experience, Hope & Everyday Conversations

Hi, I'm Niels.

I'm 20 years old, and I've been living with a brain tumour for years.

It's located deep within my brain, and it's something that has become part of my everyday reality.

But here's something important I want people to know:

A diagnosis is part of your story. It doesn't have to become your entire identity.

Living with a brain tumour comes with challenges, uncertainty and moments that other people might find difficult to understand.

But my life is about so much more than a medical condition.

I'm a social person.

I love cars, gaming, having fun conversations and talking about pretty much anything that interests me.

Seriously, get me started on cars and we might be talking for hours!

I know that when someone is facing a serious diagnosis, it can feel as though the future suddenly becomes uncertain.

I can't predict anyone's medical journey, and everyone's situation is different.

But I can share what living with my own condition has been like.

The difficult moments.

The ordinary days.

The things that make me happy.

And the reasons I continue looking forward.

I want people to see that there can still be friendship, laughter, interests and meaningful moments alongside illness.

You don't have to talk about health with me.

We can talk about gaming.

Cars.

Life.

Or absolutely nothing serious at all.

Because sometimes the best conversation is the one that helps you forget your worries for a little while.

I'm Niels. I have a brain tumour, but I'm also a young man with a life to live and stories to share. 💚

🌸 Meet Zohra — A Gentle Soul With a Love for Connection

18 years old | Friendship, Everyday Conversations & Genuine Connection

Hi, I'm Zohra.

I'm 18 years old, and I absolutely love animals.

I'm someone who can be a little shy when meeting new people.

I don't always open up immediately, and sometimes I need a little time to feel comfortable.

But once I do, you'll discover the real me.

I enjoy talking, laughing, sharing stories and getting to know people.

And something I understand personally is how much you can miss having someone to talk to.

Sometimes you want more human connection in your life.

Not because something terrible has happened.

Not because you need someone to solve a problem.

But simply because you miss conversations, friendship and feeling connected to other people.

And I think that's something we don't talk about enough.

You don't always have to be outgoing, confident or know exactly what to say.

It's okay to be quiet at first.

It's okay to feel awkward.

It's okay to take your time.

I know what that's like.

I'm not here to pretend I have all the answers to life's biggest questions.

I'm here to be myself and offer friendly, genuine conversations.

We can talk about animals, everyday life, hobbies, funny moments or whatever feels comfortable.

And who knows?

Maybe we'll both end up smiling a little more.

I'm Zohra. Sometimes quiet at first, but always happy to discover a genuine connection. 🐾💗

🫂 Different Stories. The Same Human Need.

Sylvia understands the importance of being heard after difficult life experiences.

Niels knows what it's like to live with serious health challenges while still wanting to enjoy life.

Zohra understands the desire for friendship, connection and everyday conversations.

We are different ages.

We have different personalities.

We have lived different lives.

But we share one belief:

Everyone needs someone sometimes.

You don't have to be at your lowest point to deserve attention.

You don't have to explain why you're lonely.

You don't have to pretend you're okay.

And you certainly don't have to be perfect.

Whether you want to talk about something painful, share a personal experience, ask for another perspective or simply chat about your day, we want Blame Sylvia to feel like a welcoming place.

A place where you're treated as a person, not a problem.

💜 Choose the Person You Connect With

We know that everyone feels comfortable with different people.

That's why we're working towards offering personal conversations where you can choose who you'd like to speak with.

Someone who shares a similar experience.

Someone whose personality feels familiar.

Or simply someone you'd enjoy having a conversation with.

Because feeling understood starts with feeling comfortable.

💌 You Are More Than Your Story

You are more than your past.

More than your diagnosis.

More than your fears.

More than your loneliness.

And whatever brought you here today, we hope you leave knowing one thing:

You matter. Your feelings matter. And you deserve human connection.

With warmth,

Sylvia, Niels & Zohra
